PFA Permit Renewals

Bill Sherlock - has been a PFA member and inspector for 16 plus years, specialising in many PFA  aircraft types, including Jodel, Avid, Kitfox, Rans, Europa, Cyclone, MW, etc. plus all engine types.  Bill has owned PFA type aircraft, including his current Jodel, and therefore has a great deal of empathy with the owners of aircraft being inspected.

It is true that Bill needs to earn a living, and inspections are carried out under the Aircraft Service UK banner.  However, charges are reasonable, and most owners return year after year for the friendly and professional service they receive.

As an un-charged extra service, Bill will call on his many years of test flying experience to carry out the annual air-test for inexperienced owners, should they wish.  Currently, Bill has flown 115 aircraft types or variants as P1.  Apart from being a CAA approved company test pilot, he has carried out many first flights and initial test flights for builders, notably on Avids, AX3's, MW6s, MW7s, Rans and even a Taylor Titch.
